Bird cage swap

I have been getting a few things done here and there, but unfortunately dh dropped my camera and broke it, so I haven't got pictures of a couple things....here is a pic (taken with my iPad so it's not a great pic) of the bird cage tags I just finished up for the swap on the cmb hosted by tshreve (thanks!)

Bottle cap swap

I really enjoyed making all the bottle caps and tags! This was a great swap!

The Santa cap is made into a small ornament.
These "tags" would make excellent gift card holders:)

It's kind of hard to tell, but the tag is holding a bottle cap necklace

Mini Album Swap

Here is the gate-fold mini album I made for my partner on the cricut message boards...hope she likes it!

9/28/11

Well, I guess I kind of dropped the ball on the once weekly posting- huh. I guess I just get caught up in things and forget how many things I am overlooking! Well I have been crafting plenty, but not a lot of stuff to show off because a lot of projects are for swaps and are never quite finished. I did finish the paper clip swap:

I have also been working on a mini album, a coffin filled with embellies, an all homemade swap for Cindy32, and trying to re-organize my scrapbook room. I'll post pictures when I am all done- though after moving all this furniture, I have come to the conclusion that we knew what we were doing when we organized it in the first place because no where we move any of it is as efficient as it was... so we will see- Ryan would probably be pretty annoyed if I asked him to put it all back lol.

Monday 8/8

Mariah came over today and we did a little crafting. She was working on a top secret somethin' somethin', and I finished up my first dress form. I am not alltogether happy with the whole tag, I love the graphic 45 paper, but I don't think it matches the fairy costume too well- but I made the fairy costume just messing around so I wasn't thinking of colors......oh well, here it is:)

I used the cricut to cut transparency paper for the wings, and then embossed it with the cuttlebug,
and finally used alcohol inks- this looks really pretty in the window, kinda like a sun catcher:)

Scrap-tacular day 2 :)

Well, I didn't get very much done today at all. I guess that's what happens when you watch Army Wives while crafting haha, kind of distracting I guess:) I did get a chunky charm done today for my mini album swap, I got the mini album binded (yay me), and I started working on a dress form fairy (I'll post pics of that when I am finished).
